About Me

I am an artist, a creative thinker and a visionary with a passion to make an impact in the world through the power of art and design. In May 2017, I will receive my Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Interior Design from Florida State University. This program has provided me the opportunity to work with talented established and aspiring designers. It has taught me a variety of skill sets and provided me experience in a variety of design fields including hospitality, residential, education, workplace, retail, lighting design and much more.

Throughout my life and my education, I have learned that Interior Design is so much more then what meets the eye. Design has the power to inspire. It shapes our lives and enriches our experiences. Spaces that provide a sense of wonder offer a subconscious way to communicate you are here for a specific purpose. It is my philosophy to design spaces that tap into the heart, soul and passion of the inhabitants to free the spirit and let it find a life of its own. It is within inspirational spaces that people find joy, determination and love in search of a life well lived. I design to inspire.

During the summer of 2016, I worked as a design intern for JC White Architectural Interiors where I gained real-world design experience space planning office interiors and specifying materials. Additionally, I greatly expanded my experience with Revit Architecture while interning with a developer to develop an architectural concept for constructing a 12 unit condominium in Flagler Beach, FL.

I am seeking a paid internship with a top tier Architecture and Interior Design firm in the Miami area for Summer 2017. I am currently scheduling appointments with principals to discuss internship opportunities. Please send me a note to jordandobrow@gmail.com if you would like to meet with me.
